Nuisance Complaints

A "public health nuisance" is defined as any condition of sewage, solid waste, etc. that is potentially injurious to the health, safety, comfort, or property of a person, or pollutes waters of the state.

The Washington County Board of Health requires a signed nuisance complaint form to investigate a nuisance. Once the nuisance is filed, an investigation will begin.

The complaint form can be mailed to the WCHD or faxed to our office at 740-376-7074. It can also be sent via email.
