Record Retention

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT:

Washington County Health Department has medical records from several specialty clinics including children's health, Well-child, vision, hearing, cardiac, plastics, and BCMH records from 1970 to 2014. 

These old patient charts are only required to be maintained for five years past the last contact.

If you would like to obtain a copy of these records before they are shredded, please visit us at 342 Muskingum Drive, bring photo identification. Records will be destroyed on June 1, 2022.


Overview

We provide vaccines to assure your child, family, and our community is protected from vaccine-preventable diseases.

Book an Appointment with our Clinic or call 740-374-2782 Ext. 3333 to check on availability. Normal clinic hours are Wednesdays J&J, Pfizer, or Moderna from 1 pm to 6 pm. Fridays J&J, Pfizer, or Moderna from 9 am to noon and 1 pm to 4 pm.

Adult and Childhood Vaccine

COVID Vaccine is recommended for most people.

Flu Vaccine is recommended for most people 6 months and older.

Payment

Cash or Insurance Accepted, if you are unable to afford required vaccinations the serum may be provided at no cost. You are still responsible for the administration fee.

Other Clinical Services

Tuberculosis (TB) tests are offered at the Washington County Health Department Wednesday from 1 pm to 4 pm. To complete the test, return to have the test read 72 hours later on Friday from 1 pm to 4 pm. 

County Harm Reduction Education (CharmEd) at First Congregational Church 318 Front Street, Marietta, OH Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm.

  • Hepatitis and HIV testing 3rd Thursday at CharmEd HIV Risk
  • Needle Exchange
  • Referrals to local recovery help
  • Narcan with training
  • Help with Medical Referrals

CPR/First Aid/AED Certification Class

Washington County Health Department now offers classes on a monthly basis.  Classes are instructed by Angie Rarey, RN Director of Nursing.

When: June 6, 2022 from 12:00pm - 4:30pm.

Where: Emergency Operation Center. 204 Davis Ave Suite C, Marietta, OH 45750.         

Cost: Classes are $85 per person.  Payments are accepted at the beginning of class or prepay here through our secure payment portal.  (Refund requests must be made in writing and accompanied by a completed W-9).

Additional Details: Class sizes are limited to 12 people per month.
